Abstract

This study examines the relationship between digital transformation and COVID-19 crisis management at Benflis Touhami University Hospital Centre in Batna. It uses a case study design and a questionnaire completed by 101 healthcare and administrative staff. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. Digital transformation was assessed through five dimensions: digital strategic orientation, the digital environment, digital human resources, digital culture and awareness, and digital governance. The findings show a positive correlation between digital transformation and crisis management (R = 0.733). The model explains 53.7% of the variance in crisis management scores. Digital human resources recorded the lowest mean, whereas learning from the crisis ranked highest among the crisis management dimensions. The findings point to the importance of digital skills, proactive planning, and institutional coordination. Generalisation is limited, and the observed association does not establish causation.
