The Limits of Legitimacy in Organ Transplantation from Deceased to Living Persons Between Sharia and Law

Abstract

The transplantation of organ  from the deceased to the  living raises a divergence between sharia and law . According to sharia scholars differ on its permissibility, with some opinions allowing it under the condition that the sanctity of the human body is not violated. Legally it is done based on the individual or their family and is regulated by strict mechanisms to ensure no exploitation occurs.
