Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of integrated automated systems in supporting open access to scientific output, maximizing the value of research outcomes, and fostering ethical scientific practices within Algerian university libraries, using the Central Library of the University of Oran 1 (Ahmed Ben Bella) as a case study. The study focuses on the utilization of library automation, institutional repositories, and digital access and retrieval tools to enhance the visibility of scientific output, optimize its utilization, and embed principles of academic integrity. It highlights the importance of integrating digital infrastructure, scientific information governance, and open-access policies in developing university library services and supporting the research environment.
