This study aimed to examine the effect of employing a standardized training program based on the ballistic training method on the development of lower-limb speed-strength among U17 football players. An experimental design with two equivalent groups—a control group and an experimental group—was adopted. A set of physical tests was administered to measure lower-limb speed-strength. Comparison of the post-test results of the two groups revealed statistically significant differences in favor of the experimental group, indicating that the ballistic training program contributed effectively to the development of lower-limb speed-strength in U17 football players.
