Abstract

Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin helped popularise blockchain technology, but now it's a potent instrument with uses beyond digital money. When it comes to blockchain's potential, supply chain management is one of the more encouraging applications. the revolutionary possibilities of blockchain technology to improve supply chain efficiency, traceability, and transparency. Distributed ledger technology (blockchain) allows for immutable, real-time product tracking, which in turn enhances inventory management accuracy and decreases the likelihood of fraud and mistakes. blockchain technology has many advantages that can improve supply chain operations. These include reducing intermediaries, simplifying processes, and increasing confidence among stakeholders. We go even farther by looking at actual use cases of blockchain technology in sectors like manufacturing, food processing, and pharmaceuticals. Scalability, integration with current systems, and regulatory concerns are still obstacles, despite its promise. the possible applications of blockchain technology in the future of supply chain management and the measures that will be required to overcome these obstacles, establishing blockchain as an essential tool for the transformation of supply networks around the world.
